Council Members sworn in to serve the Town of Fort Myers Beach

All Three Incumbents Return For A Second Term

Today, November 18, 2024, Dan Allers, Jim Atterholt, and Scott Safford were sworn in to serve on Town Council. The Town would like to congratulate Mayor Allers, Vice Mayor Atterholt, and Councilman Safford on being elected to continue to serve the Town of Fort Myers Beach!

Mayor Allers and Vice Mayor Atterholt were also selected by their fellow Council Members to continue to serve as Mayor and Vice Mayor.

Mayor Allers Stated, “I am honored to be elected to serve our residents for an additional four more years. The continued support from our residents lets me know we are on the right track for the future of Fort Myers Beach. I look forward to serving with my fellow Councilors to make our home as special as it can be.”

Vice Mayor Atterholt stated, “It’s both a privilege and a blessing to be able to serve the people of Fort Myers Beach for a second term. I consider public service a calling and it is an honor to be able to once again answer the call!”

Councilman Safford stated, “I am honored to serve the community and look forward to the next four years as we rebuild together!”
