The Florida Gulf Coast University office of Career Development Services is pleased to announce that registrations for the spring 2024 career recruiting events will begin opening on Monday, December 11th. Build relationships with FGCU students and enhance your brand on campus by participating in the All Majors Career & Internship Fair, Communication Careers and Internship Fair or Teacher Recruitment Fair. These events are designed to help connect you with our students for recruiting for full-time career opportunities and internships. All registrations take place on Eagle Career Network and the events take place in the Cohen Student Union Ballroom unless otherwise noted. The U.A. Whitaker College of Engineering will also be hosting a spring career and internship fair, the link to register is below.
Part-Time Job Fair
Tuesday, August 28 | 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Cohen Student Union Ballroom
Looking for part-time help, seasonal help, or an intern? This event is open to employers to recruit FGCU students seeking part-time jobs and internships.
Registration is $195 and includes tax, two representatives, one table, two chairs, two lunches, morning coffee service, and parking. Registration opens on June 10
U.A. Whitaker College of Engineering Career & Internship Fair
Friday, September 27 | 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Cohen Student Union Ballroom & 201
An event to recruit bioengineering, civil engineering, computer science, construction management, environmental engineering, or software engineering students for internships, part-time, or full-time opportunities.

All Majors Career & Internship Fair
Thursday, October 10 | 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Cohen Student Union Ballroom & 201
This is our largest career fair and welcomes employers hiring across all industry areas interested in securing candidates from all majors for their internships and full-time positions.
Standard Registration – Main Ballroom – Limit 65
The fee is $395 and includes tax, two representatives, one table, two chairs, two lunches, morning coffee service, and parking.
General Registration – Adjacent Ballroom – Limit 30
The fee is $295 and includes tax, two representatives, one table, two chairs, two lunches, morning coffee service, and parking.
Event Sponsor Level – Main Ballroom- Limit 8
The fee is $645 which includes a premium table, choice of location, four representatives, and company logo on marketing materials.

Teacher Recruitment Fair
Wednesday, October 23 | 9 -11 a.m.
Cohen Student Union Ballroom
The recruitment event is for educational institutions, school districts, and agencies who would like to interview and engage with teacher candidates.
Registration is $195 and includes tax, two representatives, one table, two chairs, two lunches, morning coffee service, and parking.

The Water School Career Expo
Friday, November 8 | 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

This expo offers employers from the environmental and natural resources fields in the nonprofit, government, and private sectors an opportunity to meet students interested in career positions and paid internships in environmentally related career paths.
Registration is $195 and includes tax, two representatives, one table, two chairs, two lunches, morning coffee service, and parking.

Post your jobs directly to the University’s career management system, Eagle Career Network, and be visible on both desktop and the mobile app for students. Use ECN to post free job listings for internships, part-time jobs and full-time jobs, schedule an information session and register for career fairs and events.
The Navigator, a Resource for Career & Internship Opportunities

The FGCU Career Development Services LinkedIn page is a great way to interact with current students, alumni and staff. Employers can post company highlights and job / internship opportunities and engage with the community. We encourage our current and former students to follow the page and begin following and building relationships with employers.
Recruitment Wednesdays
We are trying something new! Every Wednesday over the summer we would like to post internship and job opportunities for students on our Career Development Services Instagram page. We will be posting one position a week. If you would like to participate and promote an opportunity with your company complete this form.
