Bishop Doug Scharf’s Visit And Hurricane Victims Plaque Dedication

Bishop Doug Scharf will visit St Raphael’s Episcopal Church on Friday, August 23 at 11:30am and dedicate the Hurricane Victims Plaque in the Columbarium. The ceremony will take place in the Memorial Garden behind the church with Bishop Scharf leading the ceremony along with Rev. Michael Rowe, the priest in charge at St. Raphael’s, and other local clergy. A reception will follow.

The Rt. Rev. Douglas Frederick Scharf was elected bishop coadjutor of the Diocese of Southwest Florida on April 2, 2022, and was ordained and consecrated as a bishop on September 24, 2022.
